Grandad was a really good gardener so there was a lot in the garden. But my grandma did a lot of crochet work and knitting and I’m sure we had… I remember a knitted stair carpet knitted out of string…… to put on the stairs, and crocheted curtains with, I’m sure they were supposed to be peacocks but they always remind me of turkeys…
