Being in the fairground industry and like I say we used to travel all round London, and then probably I think it was about …’50s we started coming down here… We had boxing shows. We had kiddies’ roundabouts, we had candyfloss machines, we had side shows, the magic mirrors, the Mickey Mouse show, all things like that, and I used to be in the pay box when I was a kid, just taking money. That was part of my job from six, seven years old.
