Well when I came here first I was just indoors, working, working, I need money to send to my family. And sometimes I went to the library, reading a book and tried to write some story… If [the agency] need people they call you and you have to go to work. But direct for a factory, I know my shifts and I have just disciplined myself to work.
As we’ve gone about our work we have encountered some of the city’s rich and varied talent. The people concerned, like us, may not yet have reached the heights of Peterborough’s Aston Merrygold, lead singer of JLS, but, whether in the field of music, art, community work or research, we connect with them in our ever expanding links section.
